On the morning of January 1, 2025, three major projects were simultaneously launched in the Lu Feng City of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. These projects include the 100MW/400MWh vanadium redox flow independent energy storage power station project, the industrialization project of vanadium redox flow batteries, and the pilot project for integrated transportation and energy construction across Lu Feng City. The total investment for these projects is approximately 1.354 billion yuan. They are located in the Jinshan area, Qinfeng area, and Tuguan Town of the Lu Feng Industrial Park in Yunnan Province.
The 100MW/400MWh vanadium redox flow independent energy storage power station project in Lu Feng City is the first long-duration vanadium redox flow energy storage project in Yunnan Province. Located in the Jinshan area of the Lu Feng Industrial Park, the project has a total investment of 1.118 billion yuan and is expected to be completed within six months. The project will mainly construct facilities such as perfluorinated ionomer membranes, injection molding processing, environmental protection tanks, sealing materials, and vanadium redox flow battery system integration production lines. Once completed, the project is expected to generate an annual discharge of 145,600 MWh, achieve sales revenue of 3.4 billion yuan, generate taxes of 240 million yuan, and create 100 jobs.
The industrialization project of vanadium redox flow batteries is the first vanadium redox flow electrolyte production project in Yunnan Province. Located in the Qinfeng Chemical Industry Park of the Lu Feng Industrial Park, the project has a total investment of 120 million yuan and is expected to be completed within four months. The project will mainly construct production lines for 100MW/400MWh vanadium redox flow battery stacks, electrolyte production, and system integration. Once completed, the project is expected to achieve an output value of 800 million yuan, generate taxes of 26 million yuan, and create 60 jobs.
