On October 31, news from Cube New Energy showed that the large-capacity energy storage sodium-ion blade battery J7N0700-S01, newly developed by Hunan Cube New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cube New Energy"), has already been shipped in bulk. Meanwhile, by the end of October, Cube New Energy had completed the delivery tasks for its 5 MWh sodium-ion demonstration project.
The J7N0700-S01 is a large-capacity energy storage sodium-ion blade battery. The battery has a measured 0.5P charge-discharge efficiency of over 95.5%, a cycle life of more than 10,000 cycles, and can meet the requirements of 1P charge-discharge. It also complies with the latest sodium-ion energy storage standard GB/T 44265-2024. The battery offers advantages such as high space utilization in energy storage containers, long life, and high safety. It can be widely applied in various fields, including residential/commercial energy storage, wind/solar energy storage, marine power, backup power for 5G base stations, and data centers.
According to available information, Cube New Energy was established in November 2013. It is a high-tech enterprise integrating the development, design, production, and sales of power, consumer, and energy storage lithium/sodium-ion battery products.
