Baofeng Energy 250kt/a EVA project has been maintained under stable production since its start-up in early Feb, and now increased the output up to 90.4% load rate. Baofeng Energy thereby sets up a precedent in the industry to use coal instead of petroleum in EVA production, and lines up the coal-to-polyolefin whole process chain and whole product chain.
As reported, at present Chinese EVA PV-use material, hot melt adhesive and other high-end grade import dependence is near to 40%. Baofeng Energy 250kt/a coal to EVA project now accounts for 9.26% of domestic EVA total capacity. Start-up of the project would effectively fill the gap of EVA high-end product import, injecting a new and strong power to ensure national energy security.
Baofeng Energy EVA project produces 22 high-end grades in full varieties and of wide application, realizing the switch of different grades on a single process line. 11 out of the 22 grades have up to 30% VA content, featuring of high product purity, good flexibility, extensibility, transparency, film-forming property, stability and insulation etc, mainly to be sued in PV adhesive film, foaming, hot melt adhesive fields, covering diversified market demand on high-end EVA materials.
